Even since I was a child I remember being in complete awe with art. Coloring books was just the start. I then began drawing on plywood and anything I could get my little hands on.

As I grew up, I could remember looking at the tattoos on my dad and even watching him give tattoos to other people in Riverside. I would trip out on the crazy designs and how people would come together when talking about tattoos.

As a kid in the Eastside, I would think, "Is this it? What's my purpose? I guess his trade and his skills were instilled in me as well. Although I wasn't confident in myself in the beginning- I began to realize that this was my calling.

Meeting the late Don from Inkaholics in Moreno Valley, CA had a great impact on me. I remember watching him tattoo my cousin when I was 15, and noticing how different these machines were from what people in the barrio were using. One thing I did know, tattooing would be my passion, but who's gonna hire some kid from the streets?

I got my first tattoo at 13 from my dad- an hour later I went back for my second. I know what it's like to just fall in love with a piece of artwork. And now, it's my turn to help you fall in love with yours. I feel lucky and blessed to do what I love. The team at Madd Tatter'z in Riverside, CA is proud to bring you the best tattoo in the Inland Empire.

As a matter of fact, so does the IE. We're winners on The Press Enterprise's Best of the Inland Empire for three years in a row.
